Welcome to IMECH.UMA Talks 2026!

IMECH.UMA Talks is an international meeting of doctoral students organized by the University Institute for Research in Mechatronics Engineering and Cyber-Physical Systems at the University of Málaga. This event provides a platform for PhD students to share their research interests and findings through short talks and a poster exhibition.

Event Details:

• Date and Venue: IMECH.UMA Talks will take place on November 25, 2026, at the Escuela de Ingenierías Industriales, Universidad de Málaga.
• Registration and Abstract Submission: The deadline for registration and abstract submission is October 25th. While submission is recommended for students who have been in the program for more than a year, it is open to all doctoral students.
• Virtual Participation: Virtual online sessions will be available for students who are not in Málaga.
• Free Registration: Registration is free for both attendees and speakers. We invite anyone interested in discovering the latest advancements in Mechatronics and Cyber-Physical Systems at the University of Málaga to attend, regardless of their affiliation with the Institute.
• Certificates and Evaluation: Speakers will receive a certificate. Participation in this event will be considered in the annual evaluation of doctoral students. Special mentions will be awarded for the best presentations and posters in each research line, with the possibility of media coverage for the research.

• Poster submission: 16 November 2026.  Poster Powerpoint A1 template. PDF poster submission is done through the registration form.
•  Slides submission: 18 November 2026.  Slides Powerpoint 16:9 template. PDF Slides submission is done through the registration form.
